What is this vine?

Found this growing thru my hostas and wasn't sure if it's poison ivy. Anyone know what this might be?
It's bright green and other poison ivy in our yard is darker.
But that two 'thumbed' leaf scares me.
The are no other telltale thumbs on any other leaves. I'm stumped.

Definitely not poison ivy. My clematis vine does have leaves like that so I thinki agree with the others.

It's definitely a clematis. Let it grow, or move it to a place where it can climb, and keep an eye on it. Even wild varieties are pretty when in bloom, but need a tight rein or they will take over. They can take full sun or partial shade. Cut back in fall or early spring before new growth .starts. Most clematis have grabby leaf stems' but some kinds need to be tied to their support

It's easy to dig this up and replant it elsewhere, or give it to someone. Even after you dig it up, don't be surprised if you get another, or a few more pop up in the same area.

Just when I thought I knew so much I found my jaw on the floor after reading that this vine is in fact a clematis...well I'll be. I find this vine growing everywhere and it tangles all my other plants...or could my vine be a whole other breed of weed?

Not to sure that that is a clematis, because I have owned many kinds and none have come up in places that I didn't plant one there at one time or the other. Not sure what your plant is but looks like poison oak to me. And that as well as poison ivy will come up anywhere remember leaves of three, leave them be or just pull it up with gloves on off course.

It is a clematis but I believe it doesnt flower per se but in Britain it is called Old Mans Beard and has lots of fluffy seed heads in the fall. It grows wild here
