French Vases (Ikea Hack)

I fell in love with Ikea ever since I first step in that magical place and have brought home with me some lovely items every time I went shopping there. These Ikea enamel vases come in two different sizes and can be easily used to decorate your home, whether you decide to use them with fresh or dried flowers. They can also be used as pitchers in your kitchen or for holding utensils. I only used two ''ingredients'' and transformed some regular vases into elegant, Frenchified beauties. Come see on the blog the two ingredients. If you love French home decor I'm sure you will also love this easy to make project, that definitely has the ''tres chic'' factor! :)

The before

Adding a little bit of paint to give them a chippy and rusted look

Suggested materials:
  • Enamel Ikea vases
  • Acrylic black paint
