Refurbished Pallet

After viewing so many ideas on reusing old pallets, my husband and I decided to try our hand at it. Our first pallet bench. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!
Before the cutting apart...
We used one pallet cut into for the seat and the back. This is the result after nailing the two pieces together.
I painted it black and added a coat of protected finish.
This is the end result. I used an inexpensive window valance, opened it up and inserted a foam pad for the cushion. The fabric was originally black n white. But I wanted it red n black. So I used a fabric paint pen and painted the white design red. I am now hooked! Can't wait to try something else with more pallets!!
