The Fun Part

After 5 days of sanding, I finally get to see the beauty that can come from doing proper prep.
This is a Red Oak Floor refinish for a client of mine. These pics shows the main living room area. Behind the two sided gas fireplace is an area a little bit smaller, off of that area is the kitchen and dining area. For the amount of area there was a ton of "edge" work...that is what really eats into the time...The stair treads were also done, again more detail small work. A simple room of this same size could have been done in a lot less time.

That looks great! Hopefully I will end up with something like that.

I completed this work in preparation for the owners listing the home for sale. We did some other work, like touch up painting, replacing some broken light switches, and outlets. The home was listed on a Friday, had an open house on Sunday...they got an offer on Tuesday and accepted it on Wednesday. Selling the home in less than a week.
