Make Small Clocks From DVD / CDs

Old DVDs or CDS make perfect small clocks. All you need is a clock mechanism which are pretty cheap to buy. I paid $3.00 for mine on Amazon. Or you can use one from an old clock. I have a dozen free clock face downloads on my site post on the link at the very bottom of this post.
Supplies

CD or DVD

Printed clock face (FREE DOWNLOAD BELOW)

Small clock mechanism

Spray adhesive or glue to glue clock face onto cd.

Mod Podge for sealing (optional)
Basic parts, including a free downloadable owl template.
These are very simple to put together. Just print your clock face on cardstock, cut it out and glue it on the front of the CD or DVD. Punch a hole in the center and carefully insert your clock mechanism.

Awesome idea but I printed right from the web page and all were just a hair too small (you can see the silver on the cd around the edges ). Am I doing something wrong???

How do you handle these to keep from getting mod podge on the back of the CD? I used it instead of glue.
