In general, they hold up very well in kitchens, and my customers have loved it. I would recommend getting on that is mid toned/cork colored rather than dark/gray/white as they tend to hold up better/look better longer. And, choosing one with more color/texture variation will look better longer.

We put a floating cork floor in our great room over two years ago and still love it! We did have a refrigerator leak that required replacing a couple of planks. Scratches disappear with a stain stick. It's warm and easy to keep clean. We would not hesitate to install it again.
