How to Make a Ribbon Wand

Here's a simple tutorial on how to make a sweet ribbon wand. These make great gifts for little girls and awesome party favors (and wedding favors!)
You'll need: ribbon, a wooden dowel, one screw eye, and a pen or paint to decorate the dowel.

Use a permanent marker pen or paint to decorate the dowel and let dry completely. Then, twist the screw eye into the top of the dowel. (I recommend first dipping the dowel into water to soften the wood so it won't split.)

Cut lengths of ribbon and thread through the screw eye.
Tie a knot with the ribbon, and you're finished! I made this wand for my daughter to play with and she has loved dancing with it around the living room. I only wish I had one of these when I was little. :)
I've had several readers comment that they made these for their wedding. Wouldn't that be a gorgeous idea?
