How to clean a garden's brick walkway

I have a brick pathway throughout my garden and it is becoming almost invisible from dirt, moss and I'm not sure but maybe mold? It is almost 200 ft. long and most, but not all of the bricks are in shade under trees. The bricks should be a nice red color and I am wondering what is the safest for plants and the easiest way for me to clean them?
I would really like to give them a nice face lift. Thank you

We rent a power washer to do ours. Works well.

Water and Mean Green (you can get a gallon at Dollar General for 5 bucks). It's never killed any of our plants before.It also works great on getting mildew off the sides of houses. Sorry can't think of the word right now. It's good stuff and cheap. Can also be used in the bathroom to clean.

The pavers on this patio were in the same condition as yours. I powerwashed with plain water. Used Behr Premium semi-transparent stain on them, two coats on each paver. There are many colors to choose from. Purchased at Home Depot.

If you use a power washer with all the soil and mulch around them just be careful you don't end up with more mud and mess. They are what they say they are - powerful - and the blast could be a bit much. Whatever you do don't use bleach on the steppers as cats will pee on it after. They try to cover the smell of bleach with their own particular cat smell and we all know the smell of cat pee is pretty potent! Good luck. Will you show the path again when you are done? Would like to see the before and after shot. Thanks

a good wire brush, elbow grease and of hot water will do the trick Do not use bleach but vinegar in the hot water

Here is the completed job!! Today was the perfect weather for cleaning the path. Using a 50/50 mix of Mean Green and water plus a stiff bristled brush used by DH we got the job done in just over an hour
