My other Craigs List table.....any ideas on how to paint this one?

This is a nice table with a marble top. I think a vibrant color chalk paint against the light marble top would be the best for this little gem. All suggestion welcome.:)

The marble looks almost cream so I would go with a black satin then some light sanding on the edges to give it a used look.
