Gardening on Wheels: A Bicycle Planter

Gardening on wheels with a bicycle planter!
I picked up a bike at a bargain price last fall! I filled the basket with flowers for summer and planted it by my potting shed to use as a trellis.
A coir liner fills the bike basket and is planted with a combination of lantana, petunias, and million bells.
A broken {*sniff*} Portmeirion Botanic Garden plate is salvaged as a planter accent. I tucked it in the basket to enjoy some additional blooms.
Black-eyed Susan vine is spreading from another planter and growing among her spokes and mandevilla will climb the bicycle as a trellis.
With a little serendipity from Mother Nature, I caught a bumblebee buzzing around his likeness with my camera lens for life imitating art. :) More photos and details at the blog link below!
