Our Finished OSB Flooring

A great inexpensive flooring option is to simply finish the osb sub floor with a good varathane floor finish. We did this at our cabin for a warm rustic look that is still strong and durable.

    I'm with the others...did you stain it first? And how many coats did you use? Did you cover everything so the dust didn't fly everywhere?

    Great job! I saw this over 15 years ago in a Home Hardware (Canada) diy magazine. I had planned on doing it then LOL... My question is how do you remove the stamped name? Does it come off with sanding? The last boards I saw were printed on both sides!

      @Mb_smith I have some on my laundry room wall, and it is hard to cover even with high adhesion primer! It took 3 coats.
