Why plant a tree?
With so many trees being cut down all over the world, I would like to promote the planting of trees. What are some good reasons to plant a tree? Just asking........

Thank you all for posting! These are all very good reasons to plant a tree. I do like how some of you are planting trees for special occations. A friend of mine planted a cherry tree the day his daughter gave birth and that makes it very special. Thanks again for all the interesting comments everyone.
