Basement Makeover Part 2

I wanted to share part 2 of the basement makeover that I did for my friend and her family.
Looking at the before and after photo, I realized there are quite a few D.I.Y. projects on this end of the room,
This side of the room now has a snack area, complete with a beverage fridge.
I also included a table that can be used for games and puzzles. I like the idea of having a table that is out of the way. That way, if you are working on a large puzzle or Monopoly game, you can leave it out and you don’t have to clean it up to put dinner on the table.
Instead of a window treatment, I added wood corbels. Originally, they were bookends.
In keeping with the travel theme, I included clocks from my friend’s favorite cities. Of course, there is no place like home.
Another D.I.Y. project using pallet wood and battery operated marquee lights.
