Mini Chest of Drawers Makeover

This little beauty had me all confused because when I first saw this piece I thought it was a full size Chest of Drawer and I was crazy excited about getting my hands on it. For the price I was getting this supposed "Chest of Drawer" my excitement level was bound to be on level crazy.
But somewhere along the way I don't know what happened or maybe I didn't ask the measurements or maybe I was told the wrong measurements, whatever happened the day when my husband and I went to pick it up I was like WAIT! WHAT? Why is the chest of drawer so MINI? Did it shrink? Like what is happening here?
Turns out it was only 20 inches in height like barely 20 inches. But since we drove all the way to get it and I just didn't want to come back empty handed, we ended up buying it. So here I was with a mini version of what I thought I was going to get.
And just so you guys know the full detail of what I had to deal with.

When you open the drawers you get to feast your eyes on this "All Red Everything" situation.
Long story short I used this amazing paint color by Velvet finishes called Ethereal, some liquid gold gilding and decoupage paper and this is how it turned out.
Aren't these decoupage papers the cutest.
So what do you guys think?
This was my entry post for this contest that I am a part of called The Fab Flippin Furniture Contest and every month they have a different theme and sponsor.

This months theme was Icing on the cake and this mini table fit the theme perfectly. Also this months sponsor was D Lawless Hardware and you guys can check out all the details on my blog and if interested you can also be part of this fun little contest.

Oh, I love it! I adore small chests, boxes, and bowls. I want this piece! Now I'll be on the lookout at the thrift shops for something I can play with.
