There is one large window in the center and a narrow window on each side.
This is a pic of our breakfast table atea. I only have blinds now but would love to get some type of wonder curtains

I have a similar issue with a bay window, same configuration of windows. I went with a very light airy, white-on-white fabric in panels covering only the bottom 2/3 of my windows. Since it is a bay that serves as a window seat, I did a little ruffle across the top.

@Pacificcoast15 There is such a thing as 'Top-Down-Bottom-Up' curtains that allow versatility, & the rod is at the top within the window area (as with your blinds). You look like you have total privacy at those windows: is this for too much sun? Have you considered not putting anything there except a very slim topper (just for a finished look)?

The Louver shop.com. I love decorator white shutters. These are made in Georgia in several different widths. You may open them or let in as little light as you please and no more replacement curtains and drapes and their up keep. Your choice!

Roman shades work well in this situation.

Since it looks like people could watch as you eat. I am a gown woman so i checked with a man that puts the dark film on car windows, i had it put on the top as well as the bottom because of sun issues. you could use any color and I think there was recently a pin on this. Good luck with your plans.

I would use shutters but, only going half way up or to the point you need privacy

I agree with Roman shades. I have them in a bay window. They look great and are very functional. And if you're really ambitious, you could make them yourself. I pinned this a while back from Hometalk. Have fun!! http://www.hometalk.com/diy/windows-doors/windows/diy-roman-shades-3245052

They are so easy to make and look so professional. Good luck and have fun!

I would leave it as it is or make Roman shades. Make sure pulling rope is on the outside of the shade. Would be difficult to raise the blind if the cord was next to the center shades.

I have a bay window with one large window in the middle of two smaller windows. I just had shutters installed replacing mini blinds. I love the look of the shutters a lot better.

Buy 6 panels of curtain. Make a cornice with foam core, reinforced with firing strip and wrapped with curtain panel. Hang the other panels between the windows and at each end, 5-6" beyond windows. Cozy and elegant. Backing up the foam core is obvious for stability, but can also enable you to support the cornice with drapery rod hooks, so 1/2" to 3/4 inch firing strips suggested.
