How to Hide Messy Cords With Pegboard

My home office is important to me. I work in there nearly every day as a blogger. But, the cords under my desk were definitely very organized, and as an organizing blogger that bothered me! I came up with a clever solution to hide them, but make them totally accessible and organized.
For more details on how I did it, go to the link at the bottom of the post.

Hidden cord storage
BEFORE: messy cords under the desk
After: cords hidden and organized!
Using pegboard not only meant I could hide the cords, but I could us it to organize more of my things!
Pegboard is inexpensive and easy to cut and use for multiple projects.
I added an ombre effect using three shades of spray paint.
The other tools needed to make this hidden organization.
Strap the power strip to the back of the pegboard. Labeled all the cords. This is the key to helping to access the cords -- see blog post URL for more details.

Quick question... How did you get the cords through the peg board - the cords with an end that would not fit through the pegboard hole?

      Actually she did answer

The pegboard is simply something to attach the power strips, etc. to. So the pegboard is a cover.

I'm not sure I understand the location. From the picture it looks like I have to crawl under the desk to reach for my scissors and tape. ??

Hi DJ. I’m 74 and I would have a tremendous problem getting to things under the desk. It looks nice but seriously not practical

I'm working on this same problem. My kitchen desk looks messy. My outlets are above the desk so I'll be doing this on top of the desk instead. Thank You for the idea! I think it will look great.
