We used salvaged tongue-and-groove boards to create a headboard...cut at different heights to add interest. We added soft white bedding for a romantic-rustic farmhouse bedroom. DIY

Salvaged boards create an interesting rustic headboard.
A vintage French crate turned upside down makes a perfect breakfast tray.
White bedding, "Silver Drop" paint by BEHR, with the reclaimed headboard creates a romantic farmhouse bedroom.
A vintage cowboy tub at the end of the bed provides storage for extra pillows and quilts.

I really like the bed. I like the height of it too. I can almost hear the rain on the roof and a big clap of thunder! Oh, so cozy! Nicely done😄
