Custom Antique Postcard Table and Chair Set

I am a sucker for vintage postcards!! So when my client asked if I could re-create a custom postcard on a table set for her I literally ninja kicked and jumped at the chance!
Here is the before picture of her table and chair set that she had brought over from Nova Scotia Canada to Calgary Alberta Canada when she moved here.
I chalk painted the table and chair with FAT Paint in Parchment Cream, and ever so slightly distressed the edges back to FAT's Raven Black. I free hand wrote out the postcard that my client designed and painted on the post mark.
I chalk painted the chair in FAT Parchment to match. I also added the post mark to the chair.
Here is a picture of the full set. My client was SO HAPPY the way it turned out, a cherished life long piece she said. THAT makes me Happy Jig Happy!!
I always love seeing the before and after picture together. What do you think?

THANK YOU for visiting.

Did you free hand the standard "Post Card" with all the scroll work? Did you draw it on with pencil first? I'm afraid I would be having to redo the entire table top multiple times before I could do the decorative details you did! It is beautiful!
