    Did you paint over the original Christmas design? The photo of the original tin is plain with no design. The project looks great!

    If you get large enough cans, the handles come on the cans.

    We had an old round perforated lint trap (plastic) that had come out of the top of a washing machine. It fit tightly into the bottom of a tin and allowed air to circulate below the cat food. The bottom of the can is now rusting out but the tray prevents the food from falling out.
