DIY Dog Bed

It's easy to make your own dog bed from a couple of pieces of fabric and some old pillows.
I made this dog bed for charity, I asked a friend if her dogs would be my models, isn't she sweet?
I used two pieces of 1/2 yard 54" wide fabric for this project. I choose an ivory fleece for one side, and a chevron and ivory print for the other side. Sew the two pieces together with 1/2" seam allowance, leaving a 12" hole to turn it right side out.
For the stuffing, I used several old bed pillows that were flat (don't you hate that?). I cut the fabric off the outside, and cut and pulled the flat foam into little pieces, then stuffed it into the pillow. The remaining hole was top stitched closed on the outside with 1/8" seam allowance. More details on the blog!
