Arhaus Inspired Coffee Table

Hey everyone! A little while back I made my Arhaus inspired end table. It has been my favorite build so far and I wanted a coffee table to go with it. This is a pretty easy build and great for a weekend project. Here is how I did it!
I cut all of my boards. There is a PDF plan which has a detailed cutting list on my blog.
Next, I drilled the holes for the bolts to fit through with a 3/8" spade bit. There are exact locations for these holes in the plan.
Once the holes were cut, I drilled my pocket holes. These are what will attach the shelves to the leg units of the coffee table.
Now on to the hardware. I couldn't find any hardware in the finish I wanted, so I painted mine!! This is really easy to do. Just place your hardware on some old cardboard and spray it evenly. Give this plenty of time to dry.
When this coffee table is assembled, there are a lot of tight spaces, so I sanded and stained the boards before putting it together. This saved a lot of headache in the end.
Once the boards were dry, I assembled the shelves. I placed eight of my 1x3 boards next to each other and screwed in a 1x2 to the back to hold them together. There are three shelf units total.
Then it was time to put this beauty together. I assembled the leg units with nuts, bolts, and washers and attached the shelves with pocket hole screws.
Here are more after photos. I love the way this coffee table turned out. It is the perfect mate for my end table.
