Our Summer Porch has an indoor outdoor feel.... It's another room of our house. During warmer months some indoor pieces are used on our porch where the rain cannot reach them. Mixing indoor and outdoor pieces creates a beautiful space to enjoy!
During the late spring, summer and early fall months wooden end tables and a bookcase bring the inside out
Adding a lamp gives it that "room" feel
White berry wreaths hung with black and white striped ribbon on hooks (I have different wreaths for each season)
Artificial flowers and branches add color and style
Hydrangea pillows and a coordinating blanket bring a cozy feel
Dollar store colored glass stones in mason jars with battery candles bring an inexpensive pop of color to the bookcase
Potted tall tree branches are a year round focal point on our porch. Spot lights bring beauty at night.
Sitting area on the right side
Topiary with white lights is a pretty accent at night
Branches are free and beautiful. They are a decorating staple of mine inside and out. I'm always on the lookout for perfect branches. I tucked several between the table and wall to bring interest to this area
These wicker chairs were rescued from the curb on big garbage day. They were still sturdy but needed some love. A couple coats of black paint and some coordinating colored cushions and pillows add a finishing touch. Love mixing new with old.
