How I Created SIX 5-Minute Arrangements in the Same Blue & White Bowl

My sweet mama recently "re-gifted" me with one of the most beautiful Blue & White Soup Tureens ever. You see, I had given it to her many years ago while we lived in Europe. She knew I loved it. So when she saw my recently completed Urban Farmhouse Kitchen and Breakfast Room Makeover, she knew it needed to take a place of honor. I am sharing how I created SIX easy arrangements using the same blue and white bowl. Here are three of the designs.
This is the gorgeous Staffordshire Blue and White Soup Tureen I was recently given. It is a beauty, indeed.
I love every single, English detail.
My mama thought it would be the perfect detail to complete one of her favorite areas in our newly redecorated Breakfast Room.
It was perfect with my wall of blue and white plates above the new board and batten walls.
The first 5-Min Arrangement was made with some recently dried hydrangea, the last of the Summer's crop from my mama's garden.
The green of the hydrangea is perfect next to the blue and white of the bowl.
For another simple pop of green... I filled the bottom of the bowl with balled up pieces of tin foil (what I use a filler in many cases) and piled on some green apples.
Simple. Classic. And edible. :)
The third design is one of my first Fall additions this year. Mini yellow mums and touches of moss make a beautiful statement against the blue and white.
I will be making a few more additions to this design as it gets closer to Fall.
These are just three of the 5-Minute designs I created. To see the other three, please click on the link at the bottom to visit my blog, The Everyday Home.
