One Cabinet Turned Into Two Creates Symmetry in the Kitchen

When we tore into our first floor to create and open concept our first area was the kitchen. In order to make more pantry space we took out our one large cabinet and cut in half to make two!
You can see here we had one huge inefficient pantry cabinet. That's it!!!
We literally cut that big one in half. Added a new back to the one and placed them on either side of the window for a symmetrical look. (per my husband)
We added interior doors cut down to fit the front of the pantry and really long pulls that matched our other cabinet pulls.
We left the space at the top open for endless decorating!
Added shelves for maximum space.
Added my favorite yard sale makeover desk in between for a complete look. To see the full post for all the little details head over to Always Never Done.
