Magazine Rack Saved From Trash to Become Pretty Side Table

Free! Don't you just love that word?
Now don't think I take everything that is free but sometimes I just see something and know what I can do with it. There are some things that just 'tell' you what they can be and this was one of them.
Metal may rust but it lasts a lifetime. The older gentleman, Jim, who had this in his trash told me that he always wanted to put a top on it but never got around to it. Jim said the garbage men would not take it so if I wanted it I could have it. Hubby was not happy but he gets over things quickly.
Anyhow, hubby and and I met this gentleman when he put an ad on Craiglist for his radial arm saw that we went to look at and subsequently bought from him. Hubby always gets worried when we go look at things or go by a dumpster, but he knows I do not hoard too much stuff (except plants) and not to get in my way if I have a vision.
I hope this makeover inspires you and you can read more about it on my blog!
