Create a School Organisation Station

Be super organised for the whole 'back to school' thing with this fab organisation station - keeping everything together in the one place.
We all know school day mornings can be chaotic! Finding room in your home to create an organisation station cut's down on that chaos and helps the day run smoothly.

Firstly you need to create an area - we like this notice board not only is it magnetic but it's also and chalk board and it's got space for stationery - fab!

If you've no room for a notice board you could use the side of a refrigerator or small shelf.
What you’ll need

- a small space you can display kids timetables and after school schedules

- room and storage for a small amount of stationery

- writing paper and envelopes

- pens

- family diary (I do this on the computer/mobile phones using shared calendar so all family members have access to it)

Collect together some magnetic storage pots for holding pens, some magnetic hooks and clips and some plain magnets for holding school letters etc. These work fab both on the notice board and the refrigerator.
Grab a tin for storing coins in for those last minute requests for money to be sent into school.
Put the whole thing together and run with it...

Get the kids on board – so they know that once they get home any school letters or diaries that need signing are placed at the organisation station and that way nothing gets missed.

As letters come home from school make sure you transfer event dates straight into the shared family diary so that everyone has a clear view of what’s going on and time doesn’t get double booked.

When stationery items or money pot coins are running low replenish and keep organised.
