DIY Driftwood Coaster

Simple & cheap DIY.
All you need to make driftwood coasters is mod podge and driftwood pieces (optionally, a small paint brush to spread the glue).

I’ve found a lot of great driftwood pieces during the low tide!

Use the longest driftwood pieces to create a base (use as flat pieces as possible).
Use a glue to attach smaller pieces to the base. Try to attach them as close as possible and make sure they are glued properly together. It’s the hardest part because every piece is shaped differently. After you finish with the glue, put a bit of weight on top (to make sure all the pieces are touching each other). You can put a book on top of it.

Leave it to dry for about 40 minutes.
It looks like a small, wooden raft :)

You can create many different patterns, attach pieces askew or create deeper dish – possibilities are endless. Happy crafting!
