Do you have any gardens. This has become a fad for many gardeners to use in there gardens.Check painters if you do not like that suggestion.

How about a headboard. I've also seen them turned into bookshelves or side tables (some with the shutters on the sides and other wood for the shelves or four pieces attached in a square with a wood top), a light fixture.

I've seen lots of cute applications (aside from the obvious) on Pinterest. You could attach them to the wall above the bed as a kind of headbord, or positioned on either side of some artwork etc. I love shutters!
