I decided to make my version of a wall hanging I seen on one of my favorite shows. Fixer Upper is the best.. I think JoAnna used cedar shingles for her project. I needed a much smaller scale so I made mine from wood shims. First I cut all the shims to the same length and then started gluing. I used pieces of paint stir sticks to give them added dimension. Also using the sticks as gap to slide the succulents into ( faux succulents from Hobby Lobby ). Finally I used clear silicone to glue the wood to the metal. I used silicone because it keeps its shape and you can level and add dimension with silicone where glue would run and sag.
