Overhauled Open-Top Bar With Comics and Acrylic Handles

This is a companion piece to the chest of drawers in my previous post. The same client offered up this piece to overhaul in much the same style as the other piece....
You can see the original comic book pages on the inside of the doors when opened.
I used Modern Masters metallic paint to hand paint all the different small details.
General Finishes milk paint was used for the bright red.
Custom distressing was the chore after all the layers of paint fully dried.
Painting all of the metallic silver was actually very therapeutic!
Plenty of storage on the side of the bar cabinet.
I used 1 inch acylic pipe for the handles that I custom cut and modified to fit into the metal pipe pieces. Very sturdy and cool!
I thought the acrylic rod would give it a nod to the superhero vibe.
Silver metallic spray paint was used on the glassware template tray. I took it out to spray it and seal it.
The original comics were used that the client provided.
The client was super happy again!
