As parents we learn everyday that playing is valuable for kids. But when it comes to Legos, things can get quickly out of hand!
This time this project is part of the Blue lagoon design kids room! You will find below an of simple lego table (+ free plan if needed) for you kids and some useful info about some legos positive impact in their life...
This idea came to me when I found myself stepping on legos while walking at home and to be honest: it hurts like hell!
After this experience, I have decide to create a simple design lego table for my kids, which could also have big container for future purchase. And as usual with reclaimed wood!!! remember my goal is to inspire you to recycle as much as possible..
First will cut 2 pieces of lumber to create the legs
Then the big container! believe me I have created this a few month ago and until now we are not done filling it up. feel free to check our free plan to have the right dimensions...
Then the top! actually the most important part which we also received the legos plates...
As you can see here, I decided to use the wall with the heater as this space cannot be use anyway. please if you try to do it leave around 4 cm space between the wood and the heater
Et voila! here we are with a nice lego table made from reclaimed wood.
A nice way to show the kids ideas that can be made from recycle materials...

Awesome thinking dad, and, yep, don't know a parent alive who hadn't stepped on one of those little jewels

Great idea, loved your instructions and your enthusiasm, bet you're a fun dad and person.

My son is 29 and yes we have many large containers of Legos too lol. But the cost was worth it as he is now a professional engineer (mechanical).
