How can I convert a tv stand into a media fireplace stand?

Absolutely! You can find a stand that fits into the size of your fireplace and it should be easy enough to find one with the proper dimensions, it will work great!! I'd love to see which one you choose and how you set it up!

How about 2 smaller dressers or night stands (you can can make them the right height by adding wood feet or legs) and put one on each side of your fireplace. You can buy electric fireplaces that look like a piece of furniture. Let us know what you end up doing and good luck. Sheryl
