Pallet disassembly

Pallets are heavy and bulky. I want to use pallet boards to make a new outdoor table top. Any tips on how to disassemble a pallet to retrieve the full length board.

saws all will take pallet apart with ease. just use a blade that can cut thru wood and metal 9 inch blade worked for me /a cheap saw is all you need big box stores carry them the name of the blade i used is diablo demo demon carbide tipped wood cutting nail-embedded wood

Wish I'd read this before I struggled with a pry bar to tear a pallet apart! I have an old SawzAll that I use for other things--I'll pick up one of those blades today. Thank you.

A sawsall with a metal cutting 9" blade will take a pallet completely apart in 5 minutes. And you won't destroy any wood!
