How to turn 5 drawer dressers into a file cabinet?

I Have a 5 drawer wooden dresser with deep drawers but not deep enough for files. Suggestions on how to make them deeper for my files would be greatly appreciated.

This may be hard to explain but here goes. Put two drawers on top of each other, take drawer bottom out of top drawer and connect the two drawers together as one. (Makes one deep drawer) Then add the metal file frame for holding files and it should be done. Of course you will have some redesigning to do to the dresser to make the drawers slide nicely but this should at least get you thinking.
