Tile or linoleum, carpet if the space will never get wet. There are new carpet tiles available, or rubber large, interlocking squares. For simplicity, you could simply etch the concrete floor and paint it with concrete paint, using a roller.
The new luxury vinyl is really good because it is also water proof. Or a good laminate.

LVP is easy to install and water proof. I would start there.
Personally I like sheet vinyl but all flooring needs to be installed on a subfloor that is dry. Do you have any moisture problems in your basement?
You must put a vaper barrier on concrete before you put any type of flooring. Laminate and LVP are good choices.
Maybe just paint with Floor and tile paint and leave any other choice to next owner.
You could also stain the floor, visit a diy store and look at the choices.
