What can I use instead of drywall in the basement to prevent mold?
Have recently installed a sump pump to solve water in basement want to replace drywall but I fear it may mold. Basement is dry now looking for inexpensive mold proof solution dont want to use plastic walls

Great hel from Mad. You can get this at local diy stores like Home Depot or Lowes.
This Goboard i s what we used in the shower under the tile. It is water proof, and you can cover over it with paint etc.
You need a vapor barrier of plastic first then I would put green board on the walls
They do make drywall for bathrooms that doesn't mold. I would try this idea first.
