I posted the kitchen today, now for the bathroom. Another promise by hubs, written in blood, yes the bathroom will get a redo. And he came through. 🤗The bathroom had a built in walk in tub. Not only was it ugly yellow,🙀. but it was so tiny that if a person needed help in it...too bad! No one else could get in to help if someone fell while in there! So here we go!
So...out came the tub. Tiny bathroom,2 grown men..tight.
Weird looking...all that laminate had to come out too.
Wow!
Our friend doing tile..
Hubs painting the cabinet, but eventually a newer more useful cabinet will go in. Can you tell I have a love affair with teal,aqua...
Ohhhh this is sooo gorgeous but so pricey..so we just used a little for the jewelry effect!🤗🤪
Just about done...
And done! Ok..yes it’s beautiful. What I learned🤔The shower door is only 24 inches wide. The wall is right next to the shower door on the right. It is a bit of a tight squeeze getting into the shower. The door does not swing back all the way to the toilet. I am more than 24 inches wide...🙀so I go in sideways. And the glass...to keep clean...aarrgghhh! Who has all that time??? After every shower? Nope. IF I WERE TO DO IT AGAIN,I would eliminate the glass door. And Put up a very pretty see through shower curtain.🤓😁. I love the blue tile tho! Thanks for checking us out!

Where did you get your watery looking tile? Do you have a name or product code? I love it and I too am a aqua/teal girl!

I would like to change my tub to a shower like this and I was thinking of putting a clear shower liner on the inside of the shower to close when in use ....thought it might keep soap scum from building up. What do you think of this ideal?

Beautiful! I have “patterned” glass shower doors, I use a small squeegee on the glass and the tile every day. It takes about a half a minute and looks good.

I squeegee almost every shower..doesn’t take half a minute tho. More...And I am standing there in the birthday suit..getting a little chilly.😳🤪 works for some..glad it does for you. I think we have serious hard water. Former owners had a water softener at one time, but discontinued use years ago.
