Bathroom Remodel - Barn Door Hardware

When our pipes burst and our bathrooms flooded we were forced to remodel. After all of the dust settled we realized it was a blessing in disguise.
The 'before' included a mustard yellow tub and tile, gold and red scroll wallpaper and shutters that were cut to small for the windows.
The vanity was removed, as was all of the flooring and shower tile. Gutted from floor to ceiling.
The new wallpaper went up. An off white background with grey twigs and an occasional denim blue bird. When the wallpaper was installed, if a seam didn't match we were able to draw a new twig with a charcoal pen which made it impossible to see where one roll ended an another began.
My favorite part is the window shutter/door we created out of a wall panel from Hobby Lobby, a few old archetectural left overs and some chalk paint. The original panel was rustic red with wrought iron and was a few inches to small on each side to cover the entire window. The wallpaper was purchased at houzz.com - the details are here in case you want to order:

The description says peel and stick - and that is just what it is. If you apply it and its not on just perfect, you can pull it off and stick it back on. We found it very easy to install.

My favorite part of the room is the new window covering!
We had a wood tray made so the wall panel looked more like a door and increased in size by about 3 inches on each side.
Then my kids and I went to town with chalk paint and wax to make the new piece look old.
The door panel now hangs over the window with barn door hardware we purchased from wayfarer.com . We love the sliding door effect. When it is open the room floods with natural bright light. When it is closed the room has all of the privacy it requires. We found the best pricing on barn door hardware at wayfarer.com and sears.com.
The door turned out great! It glides very easy on the track and adds just the custom touch we were looking for.
We hung glass door knobs to hang the towels in leu of a towel bar. There is another set of hooks on the back of the bathroom door.
The new vanity is an off white cabinet with grey painted accent. We had it set on 2x4s and added a 5 inch baseboard so the unit sits higher than as purchased. The countertop is a white, grey and black marble from our friends at Sai Home Creations in Tampa, FL.
The flooring is a grey and white wood plank look tile set with grey grout. The tile was purchased at Floor and Decor.
The new bathtub is white and the tile is XL white with light grey stripes set with white grout. We ran the tile horizontal to make the space look taller.
For an added touch of interest we wallpapered the ceiling in a grey and white quatrefoil pattern paper. The paper was ordered from Houzz.com and is

Beautiful door.Where did you get the fancy pc for the top of the door.? What did you use to cover the opening of the door to make it more privacy?

Love the renovation. But you meant the tile was run vertically right? To make the wall look taller?

This turned out so pretty. Please tell me if the bottom of the sliding door has anything attached to keep it from hitting the wall when opening and closing it. I see so many of these doors hung and I never see much on the bottom to see if there are gliders to keep door in place??

The door panel is a piece of art plus it serves a useful purpose. Thank you for sharing your beautiful bathroom.
