Bathroom Cabinet Makeover & How-to

The cabinets in our bathroom have always come across as more orange toned & after some careful thought (who am I kidding, it was pretty much a 'whim' decision) I decided it was time to paint them. GASP! I know, paint newer cabinets that are in incredible shape and have nothing wrong with them? I'd be lying if I said I didn't hesitate numerous times before doing it.
I prepped them all by taking out all the drawers and taking of the doors and then wiping them all down clean. I taped out the inside frame so that none of the paint would bleed inside.
I used a cabinet and furniture paint that has melamine components in it so that it would be durable and stand up to the high traffic that this bathroom sees. It's called 'Hearth stone' and is by Beauti-tone. Using both a foam roller and a brush, I applied 3 coats of paint to the backs and fronts of the drawers and doors. Once they had dried completely, I re-attached the hardware and started reassembling everything.
Didn't it turn out great?! I spray painted the handles and knobs with Rustoleum Oil Rubbed Bronze and they definitely pop against the cabinet color.
