Bathroom Counter Tray Organizer

Do you have a messy bathroom counter? I did, but not anymore. I found a nice metal container and upcycled it to hold my personal grooming products. Now my bathroom counter is neat and everything I need is handy!

My bathroom isn't large and I don't have a medicine cabinet or any cabinets above my vanity. The metal tray organizer I upcycled is neat looking and a great catchall.

Find A Tray To Paint

Shop the thrift stores to find the perfect container to upcycle or you might have something at home that would work. I found this metal container at Goodwill.

Tape Part Of Organizer

Give your organizer a designer look by taping off areas of your project for a two toned finish.

Find my other ideas for using painters tape here.

Paint The Organizer

Use latex paint or spray paint to paint the organizer. I used latex paint and brushed the paint on the area of the organizer that wasn't taped off.

Remove Painters Tape

Remove the painters tape. Once the tape is removed you have a nice clean paint line. I decided the organizer needed something else. It just didn't look complete.

Decorate The Organizer

Use sisal rope to take the upcycled container to another level. I used hot glue to adhere the sisal rope to the container.

Fill The Organizer

This organizer has multiple uses. I filled it with seashells and set it on the bathroom counter. This is a great idea for the Summer months.

And of course you can use it to corral all your personal products like I did. It works great for holding all of my hair products!

    Too cute!!

I would also suggest coating the inside with a clear coat or anything to prevent water from rusting the metal.

So cute and to think I had an antique chicken feeder that looked similar, but gave it away last year to my hired helper. My bathroom is limited also and this would have been my solution...Oh well, life goes on....HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!!🌲
