Ladder Shelf
I needed more storage in our master bathroom, although getting rid of some of the stuff probably would make a lot more room! lol
But instead of purging like I should, I decided on shelving! It couldn´t be a very big shelf because the only space available for it to go could not accommodate a very large shelf, so here´s what I came up with for my version of a ladder shelf.
The wood was bought after deciding on how big I wanted it.
It´s 26 1/4 inch by 5 ft
Sorry I don´t remember how much the wood cost.
I made tray type shelves made with the fronts left open, and here it´s all laid out ready to attach the shelves to the straight back boards.
Here it is after attaching those boards in back and then adding an angled front board on both sides.
And here it is after staining it and with all my junk on it, instead of all over the bathroom cabinet. Sadly I still need to purge a lot of unused and old toiletries , but now I will probably put that off till who knows when! lol
Am I the only one that doesn´t get rid of that type stuff often enough and just let it gather and fill the bathroom vanity thinking I will someday use it?
After finishing the shelves and placing it in the bathroom I also added a frame around the mirror.
The trick to doing it by yourself is hot glue!

Looks fab! I was thinking you could even place metal wire baskets on it for an industrial look.
