I have a storage shelf but need to store towels, cosmetics, hair blowers.

Could you possibly hang some kind of shelving (storage bins) on the inside of your bathroom door?

A bookcase would work if you have the room. You could also hang a fabric closet storage unit normal used for sweaters. It would be big enough for towels, dryer etc.

Baskets are great. A shelf with holes for curling irons and hairdryers is good. You can put it in a cabinet or closet.

You could store towels in a basket

Here is an idea- works great. Use Velcro to wrap chords.  Measure your shelf, get bins to fit towels, cosmetic ..... Using matching bins looks neater and you can get clear or fabric whatever baskets you like and make labels.

I fastened half a shoe rack (the type with bags for shoes) inside my bathroom cabinet door, and it works great for hair appliances.

I truthfully advocate vibrant dyeing of the hair and it's subsequent short cropping, followed by the total eschewing of make-up, because I have found the more I truly do not care what others think of my looks, the more sanity, self-assuredness and happiness I have. Not to mention less clutter. What can I say? It works for me.

It is actually a utensil caddy. You can find them at Home Goods ( mine's a yard sale find) Amazon has them too. The best for this have 3 small pockets and 1 large. Let me know how you make out:)
