Post a picture please.
Look to the ceiling and walls for extra storage. Hanging baskets work great for hand towels and wash rags, floating shelves above toilet offer lots of storage, shelf above door is great place to store extra toilet paper.
Add shelving or roll out boxes to the cabinets below your sink. If possible add a shelf inside your shower to house towels etc.
Keep the colors light, add colors with bright towels and accessories, put a being the toilet rack for additional storage
It is a hundred times easier to answer questions that are accompanied by pictures. Little might mean one thing to you and another to readers.
I came back with an example from my own house. I have a toilet on the first level near the back door. All spaces are tight. If you are sitting on the toilet you are inches from the wall on your left, only knee room ahead and the door inches from your right. O.K. the first picture shows storage area made out of wooden fruit boxes from grocery store. These hold vase and candle related items. Next Picture is of the wall to the left (ceilings are pretty high) this is a bulletin board covered in grass cloth and the frame is decorated with decoupaged pictures of my grandchildren. There is a big mirror on the bulletin board. Across from the toilet, also hanging on the upper wall (there is chair rail in this space) are four small mirrors, all different. they pretty much fill this space. The wall the door is in is open to the ceiling from just above the door. Outside the door there is a sink, a shelf that holds hand towels, soap, etc.
There is one of those extending mirrors. Another shelf over the radiator, with an antique lamp and a green bottle. there is that wire shelving over the door into the rest of the house. Over the window and the outside door are hooks for hanging hats. On the outside door is a rack for hanging jackets. On the walls of this tiny space are two wooden medicine type cabinets. There is also a radiator, and a small wicker stand that holds some outdoor shoes and boots. You can really maximize space if you analyze it carefully.
Light colored walls and a white ceiling will help. Keep cabinet tops free of clutter. Add small plants and accessories. Small items make the room seem larger.
