I removed the popcorn ceiling in the bath and now it's bare to the sheetrock. How do I fix it and seal for moisture?

You should give a coat of moisture proof primer .Kilz is a well known brand.

Not very uneven. It was scraped to remove the popcorn ceiling and painted. I didn't realize how unevenly scraped it was until the paint went on. I was wondering if I could just mud over the ceiling and start again.

My son borrowed some kind of blower from a friend that blew the dry wall mud on the walls and ceiling in a splatter motion, we then primed and painted and haven't had any problem here in WA state. I think you can also buy it by the can.

It worked great but I wish we would of done it a little heavier. I hope this works for you. Sorry I couldn't think of what its called but it was 8 years ago. But I would definitely prime and seal, I don't care what anyone says its best to do it right the first time... Good luck.
