If I use contact paper to cover my bathroom counter and backsplash, would it be best to put a poly coat over it? I wouldn't think midge podege would work.
To glue wood together to make a wide enough counter - water proof wood glue. To glue to base, Liquid Nails.
Local box stores have waterproof glue. Maybe even E6000.. or liquid nails... make sure to caulk around the areas next to walls to keep it waterproof/tight.
