Michelle Leslie on Oct 26, 2016Hi Jessica, I've found the best paints to use are oil-based paint. They're harder wearing than water-based paints. If you don't want to struggle with messy clean ups then a water based paint that contain a urethane resin is a must so the paint will stick on the tiles. Hope that helpsHelpful Reply

Laurie on Oct 26, 2016I wouldn't paint floor tiles. The paint will eventually show ware. It's best to pull them up and start over.Helpful Reply

Kathleen Schrader on Oct 28, 2016If you are trying to change the color the easiest and cheapest fix I know of is a cut to size carpet to cover the entire floor. They are machine washable and easy to use. If you just want to soften or brighten up the floor try using glassware paint (specifically designed to be permanant and washable) and a stencil to accent the tile that is there. Depending on the tile size; small tiles make a border or whole floor design ; large tiles a design on each or every other tile. Hope this is helpfulHelpful Reply
