You could use Rust-Oleum Countertop Coating. It comes in several different colors. Or for a more industrial Concrete look you could try Henry Feather Finish.

If you like a modern look you might like to concrete over the existing and get a new look. Not sure if you can leave faucet and spout in place or if you should remove and reinstall after. If plumbing will be your issue maybe go with a Rustoleum countertop kit. Bondo can be used for crack repair. A link attached to get you started. Hope this helps

Hi, there are a couple of things you can do to the faux marble to cover the cracks.

    1. Typically the cracks are only in the surface layer. You can sand the cracks. This helps to remove any stubborn dirt that has gotten into the cracks and standard cleaning won't remove. Once the crack has been sanded, use clear fingernail polish to fill in the remainder of the crack. Let dry for a least 12 hours. Don't sand so hard that the surrounding area has lost it's color. Using an emery board is often the easiest "tool" to use. Reapply the polish about every 6 months.
    2. If you want to paint the faux marble, you will need to sand (with more than an emery board) the entire surface to give the paint something to grip onto. Once sanded, use a primer for masonry, then any paint you want. Seal with marine epoxy.

    Good luck.

My husband and I have discovered Epoxy countertops. Using regular paint (color of your choice) paint to seal the top of your counter. Once dry apply the epoxy smoothly over the top using a spreader with teeth (the type used to applying mastic behind tiles) Next, use cans of spray paint sprayed onto the end of paint sticks and drag it thru the Epoxy. This leaves "veins" of color which will simulate veins in marble. Now use a blow torch to quickly move over the countertop which will move the color about a little. Do not worry about fire...it rarely catches on fire but if it does just blow it out with your breath. Honestly...this works. Once dry, apply 2nd coat of epoxy and after it is dry (24 hours) your sink and counter will be ready to use!
