It will make the bathroom feel even smaller unless you have windows.

Paint one wall dark grey as an accent wall. Find a picture or grouping of them that has the same or similar color in it and hang it. Maybe a black and white lithograph. Use dark grey towels to tie everything together.

Don't paint the whole room dark gray - maybe one accent wall, or the bottom half of the walls with a chair rail. You could also use a fairly light colored wallpaper that has dark gray accents. Or just use it in accessories. A dark towel and maybe a mirror frame in a small bathroom will add a lot of color.

If you paint the whole room dark gray, possible add some lighter gray or white stripes.

What about using dark gray towels and accents like painting some frames dark gray and then hanging some great art or your favorite pictures. With a light gray wall or walls it would look great!

I recently saw a lovely effect in a bathroom that was white, with dark gray and lemon yellow accents. It had brushed nickel fixtures and it was beautiful. Yellow and dark gray towels were added. A white, dark gray and yellow palette is sophisticated, but warm and very striking! Have fun!

.I would have to agree that White with the gray would look great and help keep the bathroom light.
