Hi Lois, are you looking to re-adhere the wallpaper to the wall, since the vanity was anchoring it before it was removed?
You can piece new strips if you have enough wallpaper left over.
Yes, wallpaper can be refastened with wallpaper paste and if you can match a missing piece if you have the wallpaper. Clean first, removing any dust etc. I like to roll on the glue/paste with a small foam roller then adhere the paper.
