You would remove the existing faucet and vanity getting down to your hot and cold water inlets. Using T joints and elbows you can direct the water to a second area. You would do the same with the drain...... Cutting back your existing pvc pipe above above your U bend, placing a T there and tying it into the second sinks drain. The second sink wouldn't need its own U bend as the existing one will work for both. I caution you tho.... To get your dimensions as close as humanly possible. It's very frustrating and costly to find that after removing everything there's not enough room for a double vanity and mistakes with copper and pvc can run into big $$. It is a big project and I wouldn't recommend it for a novice/beginner DIY er.
